Portfolio
Homes I work in do not reflect my style, or my family's needs; I may have pushed the envelope with newer, fresher approaches, but in the end, it is the reflection of the family who lives within. Their lives are made better by the spaces enhanced by the thoughtful changes.
If any of these images inspire you, we will use the ideas as a jumping off point with the understanding that we are not limited to what you see here. I don't work with "formulas" but instead apply solid design principles and strategies to meet your needs and desires.

Inn
I have worked extensively with the owners of the Lyttleton Inn as they restore this 1860's historic home turned inn. After a run with various "flavors," it is now this lovely, calm space. No tvs in the rooms- just quiet conversation, lots of books, oh, and wireless access! Read about the restoration.
Staging a home for sale
A new job took the owner of this home out of state - so I staged the home for a quick sale.
My clients needed to really spiff up to sell during a shrinking real estate market, and were willing to do a lot of the work themselves. Tile, paint, details, and patience paid off in a quick sale.
Kitchen Cafe
In this small Cape Cod style house, we were able to rehab the kitchen to make the room the hub of their busy family and avoid a complete remodel. The new kitchen works to maximize every inch of space while updating and freshening. Older oak cabinets brightened with fresh paint, a new tile floor over radiant heat, granite countertop, and glass mosaic tile backsplash completely transformed a kitchen for a fraction of the cost of starting all over. Reconfiguring the space, especially storage areas, eliminated the need for a costly addition.

Contemporizing a Classic Colonial
The client has a style far more avant-garde and dynamic than generally found in a traditional Colonial box. By using a fresh approach to color, layout, and overall design, this home really reflects the family's personality. It has served them well as their family has grown from children in footed pajamas to graduation parties and beyond.
Ongoing Renovations
An ongoing renovation. A lovely family has updated a tri-level ranch as times and needs necessitate. We have found furniture, area rugs, window treatments, fabric, paint colors, lighting, designed a new kitchen, put off a bathroom renovation, pulled together a home office, a MBR sanctuary, and had a fabulous time all the while.
A growing family not afraid of color
